I was not sure what to expect but I was very happy with the service and the food. I ordered the fish and shrimp soup and for the price you got a good amount of fish and shrimp. Their salsa is super flavorful and overall we were happy with everything we ordered and the service. Plus it was nice being able to sit next to the speakers and have it played at a comfortable volume. I will definitely be coming back .
Stepping into La Pily is like stepping into little Mexico. There's a stage for music, and a gentleman did walk around during our meal to sing and play guitar. Be prepared to also have people come to your table to sell different items (we bought beef jerky). The host brought our table complimentary chips and salsa, which is so hard to find these days! Reminds me of home (Texas). What was remarkable were the menu choices - tradition meets innovation. We decided on the Aztec Pizza, which was perfect for sharing and trying several flavors La Pily had to offer! The asado was my favorite, it had so much flavor. Find toppings like nopales (cactus) and pumpkin flower here too. There was a salsa bar to add extra depth to each bite. The prices were reasonable and the parking was so easy (a rare find these days!). Overall a unique experience and one I'd recommend for friends to try at least once.

I have been to this place many times! The michelada and cantaritos are excellent! So is all of the food! Love the barbacoa tacos con consommé, machete taco combination, mole, shrimp cocktail, all the homemade salsa...really everything that I've tried here over the many times I have been here have been delicious! Staff is very accommodating and kind!
